we’re living portraits we’re art of humanity
so let’s take a closer look at the believa’

we’re believers we’re christians that’s what we say
we go to church not all the time but every sunday
the same hands we raise to praise the lord
is used to flip the finger at someone who worked our nerves, right?
the same mouths we use to praise god
is the same mouth that disrespects mom
you’re working at a job but you don’t give your t-thes
the government asks if you work you lie (you lie)
but it’s okay though god will forgive us
his son died on the cross, mercy he gives us
but the truth we’re in a spirit coma
we try to fool the artist with painted personas
