but only christ’s sinlessness and dripping wrists
can save us from the oven like schindler’s list

no achievements or allegiance can achieve it
y’all can call it division, ’cause we some hollering christians
here’s what’s in common with these faulty religions
they underestimate the sinfulness of the human race
a low view of god’s holiness and no view of grace
you can’t get to heaven by giving mary hails
or knocking on doors or wearing veils
you can’t earn his favor or turn his anger
but ask jesus for mercy and he’ll be sure to save ya
’cause he earned a right standing and turned away his wrath
through his perfect life and death, he surely made a path
resurrected, at the right hand of the majesty
so repent and christ’ll cancel your blasphemy

the only way to make you righteous
religions of man are inferior
but christianity’s of god, so christianity’s superior
