detroit entertainer page 1 jailed while pumping gas

on january 23rd 2020, fred kendricks aka page 1, was inside a gas station off i~80 near cambridge illinois
the rapper page 1 explains what happened, ”i noticed the trooper stop in the passing lane on i~80. about time i went in to pay he pulled up on the other side of the pump. he then asked permission to walk the k~9 around my vehicle and was denied. he took it upon himself to do it anyway once we went back inside the station. when we came back he said that the k~9 made a hit and we were being detained.”
now let stop there. unlike a lot of stereo types regarding men of color and rappers, this detroit rapper dresses like a grown man which means you can’t see his underwear when he walks he even recorded the song “pull your pants up”. so we are saying this man looked like the average citizen with one exception the color of his skin and the color of his passengers’ skin. moving forward the officer demanding that he be allowed to search the car returned with a dog to have some reason to justify his search. the illegal search produced several pounds of marijuana. page was arrested along with his passenger and sent to the henry county jail
since his arrest there has been numerous attempts by his manager, brother and fiance to gain access to the body cam and dash~cam from the officer the arrest. according to illinois state law a dash cam and body cam are required by state law. however when the request was made to his attorney deaf ears were heard
the entertainer was preparing for a video shoot of his single “light it up” in the city of detroit where marijuana is legal as well it is legal in the state of illinois. although racial profiling was the case here the officer remains on duty searching for his new victim. to avoid the dash cam of his patrol car the police officer pulled up on the other side of the gas pump
after researching the state of illinois and henry county where page 1 was arrested i found out that the law enforcement officers within the state including chicago had violated the rights of people of color on man by occasions. in some occasions arrested were made after an illegal search proved successful
this is from the aclu report: “using data state and local law enforcement are required to report to the illinois department of transportation, the aclu of illinois found that from 2015 to 2017, black and latin drivers were asked to consent to a search about 1.7 and 1.3 times more often, respectively, than white drivers throughout the state. yet, when officers performed consent searches, white drivers were found with contraband about 1.3 times more often than both black and latin drivers.”
i don’t understand how this state law is not enforced or how an attorney that i would guess works together railroad people of color as a public defender can ignore this take a look below: [“(50 ilcs 706/) law enforcement officer~worn body camera act.”]
the illinois law enforcement officer worn body camera act was enacted january 1, 2016. mysteriously there is no body cam or dash cam, while page has been remanded to the henry county jail on a $200,000.00 cash bond. these pot smoking officers not only violate rights but the judicial system and the public defenders are all getting high together while violating the rights of american citizens, sorry only those of color. although racial profiling has been addressed it needs to be enforced in cambridge, il and henry county shall we say the state or united states
there are many ills in our society when a person is deprived of so many right and has rights violated to this degree he not only needs to be apologized to but we as a society needs to wake up and “light it up”
page 1 was released on a $100,000.00 cash bond after being wrongfully detained. stay tune more is to follow
