and you could discover, that, false gods and idols, are not simply, simply, something of the past
and we may not have alters, burn incense, and have the most statues set up in these states
but we all have ways in which, we spend our time, our money, our resources on things that we think are going to satisfy us and brings us the fullness of life
but really, they are only false gods
and may for a time bring us some sense of joy or happiness
but ultimately, they will fade
