one of the things i’ve mentioned in previous videos about understanding
is that its more than just comprehension
understanding is also seeing things for what they are
not what they appear to be
we hope they should be
we wishing, we praying, we feeling, we believing
nah, it’s having a clear mental picture of what something actually is
additionally, understanding is a composite or a compound
meaning a combination of two elements
of knowledge and wisdom
because you can’t have no understanding
if you don’t have no knowledge and no wisdom first
one of the things we also teach in the five percent is that understanding is the best part
that best part is also symbolic to the child
which represents the star in our universal flag
well why?
well if you think about it, because understanding is a composite or combination of knowledge and wisdom
it is the best part of knowledge
it’s the best part of wisdom
why?
because through understanding you can see that knowledge
through understanding you can see that wisdom
not only can you see it
but you’re also enabled to show it and demonstrate it to other people
because you comprehend it well enough
there’s a lot of potential knowledge laying around
you know there’s a lot of people that say that they’re woke or they’re aware of something
but if it’s latent, if it’s potential when it’s not active
then it’s not being expressed in its fullest capacity
that’s not the best part
only when’s it’s activated
the same thing with wisdom
there’s a lot of~ look at all these wise books we have in this world
that a lot of people follow religiously
but yet we see all this foolishness going on in this world
that’s because a lot of those wise words and those books are just potential or latent
it’s not being shown and proven to anybody
not only on a personal level
but in terms of people being able to comprehend it well enough to express it and expose other people to it
