the boy looks her on, silent. no mouth emoji

the boy: i left this place years ago
she laughs

by now the scene is fully fleshed out. they are at the last day of camp. kids are getting on the bus home. the boy turns to face it. she comes up next to him

she gets on the bus. the boy smiles. he gets on the bus too
