faith is something that i’m not adjusted to
i don’t believe in myself, so how i put trust in you?
or when i bow my head, i cannot find the words
thou shall not judge, that’s everybody in this world
see, i’m loved by a higher being, i don’t deserve it
and i would never say that i am perfect
cuz, i don’t ever pick up the bible & take the time to read it
they would rather worship idols, than try to believe it
i’ve stolen, i’ve sinned, i’ve broke the deadly sins
i’ve envy’d from within, but it’s heavy without him
i feel as if i open, then i close the door
then i’m hoping, to god that i get support
that’s not how it works, god, i just seek direction
please give me your hand? i need protection
praising on my knees, that i bleed redemption
will you help me please? god, i can feel the tension

i often try to teach, but it never goes the reach
i guess i need to understand before i try to preach
but when i try to call out, i feel like i am never heard
then i doubt existence, cuz i’m feeling left & hurt
honestly, it’s hard for me to go to church, to believe in it
part of me, doubting where money goes so i end up leaving it
is this what it means? when they receiving it?
or do the others have a motive for the greed in it
if your christian in this world, they claim you’re brainwashed
when they using blasphemy, they proclaim mocked
if love, light & energy is key they remain locked
so i’m looking for that inner peace, no chains & no blocks
god, if you could help me please? i’ll try to be a better man
but from unfortunate circumstances, it made me who i am
