when i was in elementary school, my older brother bought me a limited~edition pikachu n~64, but my dad said the games on the n~64 werе way too violent and that i’d never bе able to play it. fast~forward to a couple of years later, and i said, “dad, i’ve had this n~64 just gathering dust in my closet. please, just please give me a chance.” and he said, “alright, son—you’re 17~years~old now, what’s the worst that could happen?” so i grabbed two n~64 controllers with my little brother, and we formed a bond that has not been broken to this day. it’s that kind of bond where you message each other on facebook about once a month, then your mom says, “have you talked to your little brother lately?” and you say, “yeah. we keep in touch all the time.”
