the history of only hip hop facts
only hip hop facts (ohhf) began november 2012 out of a sheer love for hip hop music. starting from a single tweet, h-ssan bargathi and joel johnson have built a brand that according to fruji.com has a reach of over 210,000,000 on twitter alone. with over 410 verified followers, inclusive of top 20 artists like wiz khalifa and big sean, ohhf not has more verified followers than most of the industry, but has also proven to be a notable voice in the music industry

our approach is not to be like typical media companies – with sometimes invasive tactics. we’re focused on higlighting amazing talent and telling dope untold stories that fans want to know about. we pride ourselves in being fans first. everything that comes along is a blessing

who are we: faces behind the brand
h-ssan bargathi
h-ssan (@bargathi) bargathi, the 17 year old hip hop head has been listening to hip hop since the young age of 6. when his older brother first brought home 50 cent’s “get rich or die trying” album, it was like love at first sight. h-ssan started only hip hop facts in september 2012 as just an idea, the really jump into it wholeheartedly in november. ohhf was made strictly out of the love of hip hop and to this day @onlyhiphopfacts maintains that very same focus with h-ssan serving as it’s chief communications officer

h-ssan’s also an artist manager, and is currently managing the 19 year old orlando rapper – schama noel

joel johnson
known in many circles as a branding guru, joel johnson graduated from george brown for visual arts fundamentals and from humber collage for 3d animation for broadcast production. he started in feature films and television working as a digital artist for films such as “superman returns” and “harry potter: order of the phoenix”. in addition to being creative, joel’s a business savvy self-taught ‘full-stack’ programmer. his understanding of the technology industry has allowed him to become the executive director of gravity effect, and has been recently t-tled the chief creative officer (cco) of piximash – a new social network based in toronto

joel loves music, being a drummer and cl-ssic pianist, he attributes his love for hip hop to cannibus’ freestyles
