never an option to fall when i awaited opportunity’s call
and of course opportunity called
in the form of a small lined notebook onto which i would scrawl
it escalated to me writing every lyric i thought
and from there it became making singles with proph
along the way had my share of the troubles and bumps
and the problems multiplied beside the rubble and dumps
though -ssistance was infrequent
persistence was the secret
personal perseverance and appearance was the beacon
im tired of never sleeping
insomnia in some fea of death
but i’ll blow up before my final breath
thats a promise man and i’m an honest man
i just hope these words don’t weigh down on my conscience d-mn
