my attendance was up and down made up for it with perseverance

last year i had all my codings and ate jojo
this year i had our adings i’m ridin’ solo
i got the solo for mumbagol that wasn’t the goal but once i earned it i decided to embrace it and go. ugh
sierra, jacaranda, manzanita
29 degrees but best fam still got that new freezer. (that’s cold.)
still went full out for the -ssociation
did our best to research to avoid appropriation, misrepresentation
i’m gonna miss the cup noodles and warm blankets
the two a day practice
all the emotional actin’ the instruments bangin’
doc-menting with cameras
the costumes and makeup that added to our fashion
hurry up if you about to use the restroom
cuz right after you pee might miss the next cue
i remember when i first saw the helicopter
i had to pick my eyes up and place them back in they sockets
and don’t forget to go hunting for all the sponsorships!
getting that pac was such an accomplishment
each and every one of y’all got respect from me. not only did we host a show we made the show for free

and it’s beautiful how we can go from a dance we can’t pr-nounce, to showin’ out with a group in front of a crowd
however, whatever we all worked it out
