one of globalisation, integration, technological advance, artistic romance and maybe even our attempt at playing g o d but be wary;
too scary and they won’t sleep
not enough and they’ll lose interest
watch their mind’s peek, just short of your true purpose
lie, and lie again until you believe it too
then cry, and cry again as you no recognise you
sacrifice yourself, your inner human
to your dreams of statues and false glory
so the next generation recognises the story
of how rori rose to the top of the rap game or, at least his sh~ll did
put his soul on auction just for the highest bid no f~ck that
i refuse to bid farewell
