the day i got my car back is the day i lost my wallet
had my gas money in it, man, i’m running out of options
my dad gave me a 20 so i put that in the tank
dad, don’t know how much that helped, like for real, dad, thanks now, back up the road, i got money i need to make
with six -ssignments due, i swear i had no time waste
work, schoolwork, repeat, i know these bills are late
the stress was catching up, and you see it on my face
but work was going good, like “yes, thank you, lord”
then the worst thing happened, something i could not afford
i’m going through an intersection, yes, my light green
but the lady turned anyways, crashed right into me
air bag came flying out, antifreeze is leaking out
people come running now, i can’t believe this happened now
i got to thank the lord, barely avoided serious injury
crazy how this happened on an uber eats delivery
stunned, i was shocked, i just sat and looked in disbelief
now i can’t make money, and rent was due just in a week
so i’m searching for a car, ’cause i need one with the quickness
and i find one from this dealership, the budget that could fit in
yes, so we got it, now i have to work relentless
god made a way, testimony, i am a witness
