in a recent interview with hot 97 to promote ‘magna carta holy grail’, jay-z was asked about his relationship with obama, and he opened up and said he has the pres on speed dial and they talk from time to time. when asked what they talk about jay said that barack obama is ‘just a regular guy’ and the subject of sports comes up a lot – as the two share a p-ssion for ball
giving an example of how important basketball is to obama, jay-z recalls a story at the end of the president’s second presidential campaign where he said he was going to close out the presidential race like the end of a basketball game, “hey, you know, fourth quarter…just give me the ball.”
he’s really heavy into sports, like a lot of his -n-logies, are sports. i don’t know if this is like ‘breaching national security’, but when he was getting elected the second time he was like, ‘hey, you know, fourth quarter. just give me the ball.’ i said ‘word’, that was amazing, i had to give it a ‘word’
