the boy stares blankly at dude 2’s grim face and for the first time in his entire life; he feels like it’s his last day. he cannot speak, he cannot move, he cannot focus. a brown spider slowly crawls its way up the wall in front of his eyes; as if it were retreating to its web in a dark corner of the room
the boy has his eyes closed for what felt like 3 and a half minutes. they were actually closed for only 8 seconds when he finally dared to open them

the boy hears these voices that really sound like… thoughts. eyes close. he’s hearing a loud continuous stream of consciousness from a familiar voice. his own. eyes open
sitting in the exact position he was before (awkwardly with one of his arms holding the other) looking ahead, except… dude 2 was missing
[blank face emoji] the boy looks down and sees a 3 ft creature that he remembered more with each p-ssing second. the forced smile on this creatures face was all too familiar. this one in particular is the one he saw that had tears in its eyes, yet kept pushing the smile
the boy is frustrated. frustrated with everything that he has ever thought of. he had one thing to say to this creature because the thought of not-knowing it was driving him mad
