the persian wars were a number of battles and conflicts between the greek city~states and the achaemenid persian empire
the most significant battles of the wars were marathon thermopylae salamis and plateau all of which have become legendary

first off we got the battle of marathon
the persians tried coming into our land like it was their lawn
they came in thousands, they had more brawn
but we had the brains, the greeks keep pressing on
we chose our spot, mountainous terrain
persians brought their opps, it was not by plane

we tricked the persians, they could not refrain
their warriors were slaughtered like bloods do to crips
the persians scattered, back to their ships
they tried to embark on their long trips
but us greeks advanced, yeah we got them clipped

ran 26 miles all out of strife
he delivered the message that the persians got knifed
then they ran off to thermopylae so they could hide
the persians, yeah, i’m sure they pray
to maybe live just another day
