i think a good parent is someone who is there for their kid no matter what. if a parent decided to just not care for their child theys should not be a parent . something that makes a great parent is someone who stays when you need them the most. doesn’t make you wait 14 ~ years to come home when you left them. i think a good parent is someone who appreciates their kid . if you’re gonna have a kid to just walk out of their life, you should not еven think about having a kid. a good parent is someonе who buys their kid food and clothes. who spends money on their kid for school and doesn’t make anybody else buy it because they can’t spend their money on that , they have to spend it on something else. a good parent is someone who is willing to talk and make everything better. to kiss your b00boo and make everything better. if you go to jail/ prison you’re not that good of a parent. if you have been in an out of foster care like i have your parents don’t really care about you to begin with or they would not do stupid things to get into there. in my opinion parents should have goals for themselves with their kids.if you party a lot and just leave ur kids at home or with a friend you’re not a good parent. you need to teach your kid what’s wrong and what is right. if you let your kid do whatever they want you need to teach them boundaries. in order to be a good parent you need to show your child love . you need to be a role model because your kids look up to you and if you’re sitting doing drugs there most likely gonna wanna try it. if you go out partying and drinking all the time they’re most likely going to be trying to do it because they look up to you. showing respect to your child makes them feel loved because if they aren’t there they’re gonna feel like you don’t care about them and that is a hard feeling to face. i have to live with that because my mom walked out of my life when i was young and i know i have to live with it but it will scar a kid’s childhood. a
