…and there’s a big cutscene, uh… and, i’m trying to think what, it’s like, barret says like, uh… “so, how do we get to the bridge above mako storage? ain’t holdin’ out on me, are you? stamp scared to bite the hand that fed him? or is he a loyal little doggie!?” and then like cloud has like a little weird migraine flash, uh, and he’s like ~migraine flash~, and then barret’s like “have it your way, mutt. we can do this with you, or we can do this without you”, and then cloud pauses for a second and he’s like, “different reactor, different layout. depends on when it was built. never s~ never seen one like this, but i’ll manage” or something like that
anyway, the whole time biggs is trying to, uh, hack into the mainframe or whatever that opens the security door, jessie’s just standing guard, biggs gets it, and he’s like “d~mn, i’m good!”
and then the door opens, and then cloud runs in, but like the door, but then the security~ there’s like four security guards in there, and one of them’s like “get the door!” and then, uh, the door shuts, and barret’s like “w~wait!”, and so cloud gets cut off from the gang, and he’s in this room with four security guards, and then they say something to him, what is this, it’s some sort of corny line where, they’re like, uh… like, “that’s as far as you go,” or i dunno, something like that, and cloud’s like “that’s my line.”
and then you k!ll them, obviously, after there’s a little tutorial on how to, um, do punisher mode, but anyway, the~ as soon as you k!ll them, the door inexplicably opens back up, rest of the party comes through, biggs stays behind, jessie hacks into the next door, um… and he goes through, with barret, there’s a phoenix down, i think, in that room, and then, uh, jessie [?] presses the b~tton on the elevator, with her or something, and you do, and she’s like, um, “it’s none of my business, but… uh, you know tifa, right? are you guys close?” and then cloud has a little flashback
um, and you don’t really~ if you’re playing the game for the first time, you don’t really know it, but really he’s flashing back to nibelheim, uh, when he was a kid, tifa’s a kid, although, i will say, the graphic, like~ the~ tifa’s face looks basically like adult tifa, but it’s like on a child body, it’s very strange, um… and like you’re~ so you’re in the cit~ the town of nibelheim, it’s all like, you know, middle of nowhere or whatever, uh, then tifa calls out to~ it’s first person though, so you’re assuming, you know, you’re in cloud’s body or whatever, and then tifa’s like “cloud!” and she’s like with little kids, and ti~ she’s like “are you ignoring me?” and then like it cuts back, and cloud’s like ~another migraine flashback~, uh, and then the door, the elevator door opens, barret, um, pushes past cloud kinda aggressively, and they all get in the elevator and it starts going down…
