hey guys, it’s brian griffin and ethan heikkinen. we pray you are liking what you hear on this project. we want to be a light to the world by sharing the gospel in our own unique style. we believe that anyone can show the light of christ based on 1 timothy 4:12, which says: “don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
no matter your age, where you are, or where you have been, you can be a light for christ to anyone. as matthew 5:14 states: “you are the light of the world. a town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”
if you have been saved, we want to encourage you to step into the mission and be a light wherever you are. christ calls us in matthew 28 to carry out the great commision – share your faith in jesus christ with others
if you have not been saved, we would encourage you to look more into having a relationship with jesus christ. in the beginning of the bible, god gave moses the ten commandments and it still applies to our lives! have you ever stolen, even if it was small? have you ever lied? jesus even calls hate murder at the heart. jesus says in john 14:6 “i am the way and the truth and the life. no one comes to the father except through me.”
we have to be saved from the penalty of h-ll. h-ll is a place where there is nothing good. the misconception is that you have to be a good person to reach heaven. this is not true. the way through the gates of heaven are through jesus christ, and jesus christ alone. it doesn’t matter what you’ve done for christ to save you. he died for the whole human race. eternal life in heaven is a free gift, all we have to do is trust in jesus, ask for forgiveness of sins, and repent, or turn from your sins
this doesn’t mean that you won’t sin again, but christ has paid the ultimate debt and we have new lives that don’t want to sin. we encourage you to think about this – it is where your eternity sits. it’s ultimately up to you to confess that you have done wrong and that you don’t deserve his love
