that there’s no way, because of all the cosmic rays there’s
only the slightest chance that life could get a grip
upon the edge, the ever present sunset strip but
just imagine ~ if we had neighbours
pretty local ~ it’s just four light years
soon we’ll send a probe, to say h~llo and
let them know that they’re not alone and
if they’re out there, so close to home then
that would mean that the universe is
full of creatures, that evolution
is more than just here
it’s written in the sky
