it’s wednesday here, it’s london town, it’s hot in here, we know
apparently there’s a problem with the air conditioning
thank you, yeah there’s a problem here with the air con here. the main problem being there is no air con here because uh, the facilities are lacking. because it’s not really a recording studio we’re in, it’s someone’s house that uh, that the band knows, a man called jools who has very reasonable rates. so it’s his sort of living sp~ce that we’re in and it’s seven men, lots of equipment, clammy. getting clammier by the, i’m dripping, so it’s warm and we can’t open the door ’cause the noise will leak. and uh, i mean we’ve been out, we had lunch already, we had lunch in a café called the freezywater café. so you’d think that would be cooler because of the name, but apparently it’s a part of london, freezywater
so we went there and i had a baked potato with beans and cheese, it looked like a shoe. it was so big and it tasted like a shoe, it was horrible. so the main point being that it’s very hot here, hopefully it won’t be hot where you are although it might be afterwards;
because it’s going to get a lot hotter
when we make a whole lot of noise for an hour or two
so take off your sweater, you’ll feel a lot better
and take off your trousers too
