keeping your money in the hands of good people and people you know
and then three, like, what’s your relationship to land?
it’s worth deepening that, you know
getting the idea of what, like
local flowers, local trees are around you
because one of these days you’re going to see, you know
a little flower on a highway on~ramp
and you’re going to feel something because you’re going to be like
wow, that little flower is making it through all f~cking odds
and it’s supposed to be here
and, like, now you can even play a part in helping that flower
it’s community
and that community is going to help the bees
and those bees are going to help all those other flowers
and all those other flowers are going to help the trees and mushrooms
and then, you know, it just all builds from there
so it’s like everybody feels like they have to have this major impact
they have to do this institutional work
they have to get involved in policy
you know, they have to read through the lines of all the articles
or, you know, the narratives but really it’s just
like, if you can take care of yourself and find out what you’re worth
if you can, you know, step up and just take a little bit of time
but, take your time regardless
in understanding where you are and the other things around you
and the spend money and time with the people that you care about
we can transform all of this
