[spoken] god invades with redeeming life a decisive achievement

[whispered] revelation

[spoken] i believe that the result of this account that we have in revelation is for us to see that whatever kinds of stress, whatever kinds of problems, whatever kinds of tribulation that may come our way, that there is an overall master plan that is much larger than whatevеr part that we are currently bеing stressed with, and there is a commitment from almighty god that his promise will be absolutely fulfilled

[spoken] it takes christmas out of out of just being a lovely little thing of staying behind closed doors and singing christmas carols. it takes it out of that arena and causes us to understand that god in christmas hasn’t called us to stay hidden in our houses. but he’s called us to be out in the world. proclaiming the good news

[whispered] revelation

[spoken] after this, i heard the sound like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting “hallelujah!
[spoken] salvation and glory and power belong to our god
[spoken] for true and just are his judgments
[spoken] for he has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries
[spoken] he has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”

[spoken] and together they shouted “hallelujah!”
[spoken] smoke from her ghost house. forever and ever
[spoken] twenty~four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped god
[spoken] who was seated on the throne

[spoken] and they cried “amen! hallelujah!”
[spoken] then a voice came from the throne, saying “praise our god, all you his servants and all you who fear him, both the great and small.”

[spoken] then i heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters, and like loud peals of thunder shouting “hallelujah! for our lord god almighty reigns. let us rejoice and be glad, and give him glory.”

[whispered] revelation

[spoken] for the wedding celebration of the lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. fine linen, bright and clean

[spoken] then the angel said to me, “write: blessed are those who are invited the wedding supper of the lamb!”
[spoken] he add, “these are the true words of god.” at this i fell at his feet to worship him, but he said, “do not do this! i am only a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony about jesus. worship god, for the testimony of jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

[spoken] christmas is a proclamation that there is a warfare that we all know that is going on. and christmas is a proclamation that god is absolutely faithful to his promise

[sung] revelation

[spoken] and what he has set himself to do will absolutely occur in history. and it says that as a result, took place there, that we are a part of the ultimate defeat and destruction of all this evil

[spoken] i saw the heaven opened and there before a white horse! the rider is called “faithful” and “true”. with justice he judges and makes war

[spoken] his eyes are like blazing fire and on his head are many crowns. he has a name written on it that no one but he himself knows

[spoken] he is dressed in clothing dipped in blood, and his name is the word of god

[spoken] the armies of heaven were following him riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen. white!

[sung] revelation

[spoken] out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations
[spoken] he will rule them with an iron scepter
[spoken] he tramps the winepress of the furies of god, the almighty
[spoken] on his robe, and on his thigh, he had his name written, “king of kings and lord of lords”

[sung] revelation

[spoken] i saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in mid~air, “come, gather together for the great supper of god, so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals. and mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, both free and slave, small and great.”

[prayer] father, we come before your throne. we welcomed you here. and now we speak of ascending to you and standing before you. and we know that this only happens as your holy spirit gives us some sort of revelation, some sort of openness of eye and the eyes of our heart as it were to see these things that you would instruct us. they’re all together real, substantial. won’t you help us holy spirit to see and understand, give us ears to hear who jesus is. manifest your son. love your son so much that he would cause your spirit to unveil into us. lord, find seeking and groping and yearning in our hearts for this glorious person, jesus christ. how we want to see and to know and to serve him. lord, find and search our hearts. find that desire. give us ways of fulfilling the longing of our hearts to bring you service and glory. would you meet many of us and dry the loneliness and the ache in our hearts and the tears of our eyes lord touch us where we have hurt and been disappointed so excruciatingly. oh god, shepherd us this morning, lead us to yourself. amen

[spoken] then i saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the ride of the white horse. but the beast was captured and with him in the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. with these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshipped it. the two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. the rest of them were k!lled with the sword that came out of the rider of the horse. and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh
[spoken] he’s a god who is pleased and sorrowed and grieved and happy and rejoices. at least what jack said this morning, he rejoices over you like a bride and all that. that comes from scripture. that’s somebody who plays piano and thought up a song. that was isaiah who didn’t think that up. he says, god has passionate feelings and emotions that can be moved and delighted somehow by our own giving of ourselves to him. or not. i’m not suggesting that god needs anything, but he desires very, much. it’s big difference, you see. he’s sufficient to himself, but god desires. he has great affections and longings. he has such… you know this, scripture talks about being grieved and sad and excited and glad and thrilled and delighted. that’s the kind of god you serve. a god who can be pleased. we’re going to read, it’s in scripture, how he can be pleased. but that’s why he’s ordained priesthood unto him. as a special kind, as special people, entirely given over to the pleasing of him. and that’s what i’m calling you to do. that’s a heavenly calling. what do in heaven? have you ever been bored with the whole thing in heaven? i’m come on, can we just play basketball for a while? i do we have to do the harps and everything? right? i mean, heaven, boredom, i could do it for like a week. but eons of this is like a little lengthy, you know? how do we take a break, you know, and that kind of thing. now it turns out that i don’t exactly know what the schedule is. but the reason we don’t get that is what’s the big deal is that we yet to be exhilarated in the exhilaration of god to see how greatly he’s delighted. and you know what it’s like if you’ve had a mature relationship with someone and know how delighted they are in you. it’s just something you voluntarily, authentically, was from you. somehow you served and pleased them and they were without any games being played, were really glad about that and that moved you. you loved that person and they loved you and you were loving each other
