that night, the forest opened it’s gate to us, and we entered a world between worlds, with no wish to return. we abandoned our shields, for they would not protect us against the dangers that lurked behind the old trees, hidden in the mist and above the black clouds. an eternal dream reflecting from our blood told u a tale of a throne that awaits a warrior behind the mysterious forest ~ a place where we could sleep forever without a memory of a past life. with ravens singing us hymns from the soul of the true king of darkness
our trail through the woods, swamps and coves seemed everlasting. struggling with coldness, hunger and beasts of that somber realm. we screamed our anger towards the moon, towards the branches and towards the stones and the beats of the wild heard our behest and appeared to kneel before us. under our compulsion the wolves carried us through the untouched landscape to the bridge that crossed the chasm to the ruins of an ancient temple. the old iron gates opened with an averse creak and the cryptic shimmer of a throne of skulls blinded our eyes. we had reached a throne promised to us by our blood, in a temple hidden by darkness and winter…
