we would help our fellow citizens because it’s right
not let our decisions be controlled by stereotypes
it shouldn’t matter if their brown, black, or white
it shouldn’t matter if they represent left or right
what should matter if it’s wrong or if it’s right

when you get blackballed for takin’ a knee
they want to control what you say in the land of freedom of speech
most of us said they love this country, they show no love to soldiers with ptsd
not pointin’ fingers because i know change starts with you and me
i just wish they put the same effort to help each other
as we do to disagree, just imagine
if we took time to feel each other’s pain
then maybe we realize that hate doesn’t create any change
just imagine if we taught self~worth in school
then maybe we would have less kids trying to build their future with broken tools
just imagine if we had a leader that didn’t create separation
we can’t say we’re indivisible when it’s physical
that we’re more divided as a nation
if i was a politician my policy would start with love
we’re supposed to be one nation under god
but it seems like we put ourselves up above
understand, there’s no community without unity
i think we can all agree that’s true
if we want to be united as one like i say at the end of every single video
