next song from the florida ep is get your cigarettes. which in the biography of henry turner’s life is from the point in which he is no longer a baseball player. he’s a young adult, & he’s getting into drugs for the first time. & this is talking meeting up with his friend, jamie. who knows how to get the good stuff, out in the suburbs. & jamie is expanded on a little more in the books. i really like how this song turned out~ this recording of it~ because the outro, it’s gonna knock your socks off! it’s kinda this really neat thing that kevin did on trumpet. you can hear him slowly spiraling out of control with the outro with this music. it’s very cool, so this is get your cigarettes
