the buddha has shown us that we can be peaceful, happy, and free in this very moment

let us recall the buddha’s words and release all sadness and anxiety
let us come back to ourselves and establish in the here and now
let us lеarn to recognize the conditions for happinеss
present within us and around us
can we hear the birds singing and the wind in the pines?
can we see the green mountains, the white clouds, and the golden moon?
the pure land is available in this very moment
every day we can enjoy the buddha land
every mindful breath and step takes us to the kingdom
revealing the wonders of the dharmakāya

i am determined to let go of running, striving, busyness and despair
i shall not chase after wealth, power, fame, or sensual pleasures
because i know that these do not lead to true happiness
but only bring me misery and misfortune

i shall learn to live simply
so i can live deeply every moment of my life
and body and mind can heal
and so i have the time to care for and protect
those i have sworn to love
i shall practice for my mind to grow in love and compassion
so that i can help beings anywhere who are drowning in craving

i ask all buddhas throughout sp~ce and time
to protect and guide me
to support me on my path
so i can live in peace, joy, and freedom
fulfilling the deepest aspiration
as your disciple whom you trust and love
