i grew up around the rowdy, the calm, the rich, the poor
my family was the rowdy calm and poor part
we didn’t have nothing my family had their fair share of pain
me i thought to myself
if all these rappers today can get money and famous
for getting out there and rappin about nothing
than i can do it to but i said to myself
“my family needs money so i’m gon start rappin
and maybe it’ll help my family money trouble”
the only problem with that was i wasn’t very liked in school
so my music wasn’t promoted and listened to and much as i would’ve liked it to have been
so for now i’m just gon tell me story

like i’ve said before i don’t have time to deal with the bullsh-t people want to give me
