and cisco leaned forward from the backseat, so he could get closer to woody and sing in his right ear
and i was there, just inches away, hearin’ them harmonizing on this wonderful song
and it’s the only time i ever heard that song sung
and i remembered it for years later as a memory of this wonderful tune and melody
only i never learned it and i never got all the words, until just now
