but we dress it all up with big fancy musical numbers
then audiences will actually think it’s worth watching!

are you sure they’ll be convinced?

of course! i mean, not sophisticated theatre~goers
but the kind of riff~raff you get at the garrick will love it!

and so, they went forth and wrote it
even starting with a classic prologue

for they knew, if there’s one way to convince a story was worth watching, it was by explaining it uptop through modern dance

and just to really seal the deal
they decided they’d end it with a brilliant theatrical twist
where they would reveal it was them that had been narrating the whole time

pretty clever, eh?
