i mean michael’s an amazing songwriter
and it is so highly personal
you see when you work with songwriters and i’ve worked with a lot~ i mean, with singer~songwriters i’ve worked with a lot of ’em
so it’s lonely, you know? he, uh~
he dug in

sometimes he was not sure it was going the right way
but after a while, you know, he got it
by his second album, he wrote three songs on the first album and wrote four on the thriller
