not concerned with jewellery only bettering my craft
studied nga ender and other veterans of rap
in a year i was lifa rocked with casper in a cypher
but still was just a student working hard to become tighter

had the passion, but i lacked in, other aspects
so i had to put the work in and start

once i got it razor sharp i went and sharpened it some more
cause theres always room to grow

fast forward to 2013 while im building the foundation
i was in a rush to release as i hadn’t yet found patience
making multi schemes with punches at that point was second nature
and while yes that step is major more was still needed to mature

my delivery was bland lacking flavour and emotion
plus i did only a few takes for each track so they wernt potent
writing hot 16 are one thing recording them is different
my mc evolution went from newly born to infant

kept my distance for a little bit to resharpen the blade
worked on mixing in the lab which i started to upgrade
and from there a cycle started of a stronger mase emerging
with the bars raised every single time for quality of verses
