a huge and horrible giant worm
was crawling fast toward us:
its jaws occupied the entire width of the corridor
a repulsive lump of t~~th and drool
was investing us to devour us alive!
zothen said loud: “on the ground!” and casted a spell
a powerful fireball, but it wasn’t enough
viktor and bloodwyn, at the top of the line
had to face the horrible vermin
the fight was disadvantageous because
if they approached it too close, they risked being swallowed up
it was then that fir, at the end of the line, had an idea:
he stepped back into a secondary corridor to get around the monster
finding its side uncovered
he stuck his sword firmly up until the handle
in the soft body of the creature
who spit a slimy green blood
the monster slipped backwards with a sharp sound
fir barely had time to draw the sword
and the worm jaws were in front of him!
but by this way the creature exposed its side to viktor
who did not hesitate to stab him again with his weapon
the worm backed away allowing us to escape at breakneck speed outside…

un enorme e orribile vermone gigante
stava strisciando veloce verso di noi:
le sue fauci occupavano l’intera ampiezza del corridoio
un ripugnante grumo di denti e bava
ci stava investendo per divorarci vivi!
zothen gridò: “a terra!” e scagliò una magia
una poderosa palla infuocata
ma non bastò. viktor e bloodwyn, in cima alla fila
dovettero fronteggiare l’orrendo vermone
il combattimento era svantaggioso perché avvicinandosi
si rischiava di essere inghiottiti
fu allora che fir, in fondo alla fila, ebbe un’idea:
arretrò in un corridoio secondario per aggirare il mostro
trovandone il fianco scoperto
infilò con decisione la sua spada fino al manico
nel corpo molle della creatura
che spurgò del viscido sangue verde
il mostro sgusciò all’indietro con un verso acuto
fir fece appena in tempo a ritrarre la spada
che si ritrovò le fauci del verme di fronte!
ma in questo modo la creatura espose il suo fianco a viktor
che non esitò a trafiggerlo nuovamente con la sua arma
fu a questo punto che il verme arretrò con decisione consentendoci di fuggire a perdifiato all’esterno…
