you know, these shows are so cool for me
when i started out, i had made a little recording when i was in college of my lesbian self
and i had a category and i had an audience and i was ready to go
and then, all of a sudden, i turned into a dude
and i don’t have a category and i didn’t know i was gonna have an audience
and i took off in an rv
and looked around on facebook and tried to find other trans folks, queer musicians and didn’t find much
i found josh klipp. i found tough tough skin, radford bishop out of minneapolis
i found actor/model, who just put out riot acts, which is an amazing documentary about trans musicians. you should check it out
and later on down the road i mеt storm, i found alex
and we werе pen pals for a while, we wrote to each other like
“oh my god, this sucks! doesn’t it suck? it’s horrible!
but this is cool, and i’m excited about this, but this sucks”
and yes, pen pals, back in the day
and i had no idea there would be any audience for this
or any other trans people anywhere doing anything kinda like, anything… anything, nothing!
