the rhythm is very persistent, at times it seems like it slows down only to pick up the speed slowly
resembles the message of the song “warrior, struggling, to remain, relevant”
with breaks in between the bars, as if it’s the persistence of the warrior that allows him to keep on going further
looking back at the past, to see how far he’s come, where he’s been and then back to where he’s going without losing sight of the goal
ponce de leon was an explorer and discoverer, so he’s making an inference to that, saying that conquistadors or explorers seek new horizons and discoveries. telling the mythical soul that there are new horizons to be discovered. to fill these ghastly souls with hope, sometimes false hope, but false as it may be, doesn’t stop the conqueror from continuing in whatever way that he can
invincibility isn’t never being brought down, it’s the ability to be brought down and come back up
