“‘disappear’ – i love that song – this is one of the tim, terry, and i wrote this one when we were in this actually really cool writing session where the three of us went to the middle of nowhere in california, like in the wine county. i think where we were staying didn’t even have a name, the town we were in. the nearest town was like 20 miles away. we wrote this song in a cliff. we rent this house for, i think, two or three weeks. that was one of the songs that i didn’t know if it was gonna make it. it was very different sound like in the chorus, the way that it sounds. i don’t know, i can’t really describe it, but it’s just a really different style vocally for me. but i loved it. i was just singing, you know, out of fun. it’s cool. it’s new when you start with a idea and you’re not sure about, but the more you play with the band, it becomes something bigger and better.”
