but with growing numbers against him, lbj persisted
back at home tried to build a great society
medicare, medicaid, a full out war on poverty
expanded the sp~ce program, the u.s. went to the moon!
but with riots in the streets back home, the country seemed doomed
in ’68 lbj said he’d not run again
between vietnam and inflation his time was limited
