i was going to
try to say something deep and profound
and i wrote this long spoken word poem
that i was going to do as an intro
but it just didn’t feel authentic
truly, a lot of things don’t at this point
and i felt like i needed a break mentally
i’ve been pursuing this
for more than half of my life at this point
i just turned thirty
just dropped an album
and i didn’t really plan to make anything
i didn’t really know what was next
i felt like this was
kind of the period on things in some ways
but i guess it’s more of an intermission
so please enjoy a few songs
while i kind of get myself together
and i, i try to figure out what’s next
