lirik lagu calvitron - hobb's story (skit)
50 cal: argg! who’s it this time
50 cal: hey this is 50 cal
hobbs: hey man, this is hobbs, i was just wondering if you are willing to talk about what happened to me
50 cal: naw man, i’m fine
hobbs: come on man, you know you can talk to me about anything, so w-ssup
50 cal: nothing
hobbs: why don’t you wanna talk to me about it man?
50 cal: i just don’t wanna talk about it
hobbs: alright man, just let me tell you a couple pieces of advice. before that though let me tell you a story. back when i was a kid, my dad was a police officer. he was patrolling his area on night when he caught some people doing suspicious activities. he went to investigate and found out that they were selling drugs. he was about to arrest them when one of them shot him and k!lled him, then got away. the next few years were hard after that. money was already hard to come by, but with him gone it was ten times harder. my older brother had to start helping provide for the family along with my mom. i was to young to do anything to help back then, or else i would have. we were desperate to find ways to provide to the family, so the only way he could find to do that was to sell drugs. he hated doing it, and only sold them, never did them. one day he got caught by a cop mid dealing. he was trying to explain why he was doing this in hopes that the cop would have sympathy on him, and hopefully let him go, but that only made him angrier. soon the cop became violent and attacked and k!lled my brother over it. my brother wasn’t trying to k!ll anybody or was a threat to anybody, but he was still shot because the cop was suspicious of him. so they both died by the same event but on different sides. for a while i was wondering who was really the bad guy in this case and who was the good guy. if the cops were the good guys, then that would make my brother a bad person, which he wasn’t. if the dealers were in the right, that would make the bad guy, which he wasn’t. i was wondering about that for years until i found this out. there is a j-panese word called wabi-sabi, that has a really good meaning once you get over the fact that it sounds like wasabi. it means everyone has perfect intentions even if there actions aren’t. everyone wants to do what they believe is right, even if it isn’t. so you shouldn’t go around saying this or that persons bad just because they did this, but try to understand their reasoning behind it. then you’ll start to see the good in everyone. that’s all the advice i have for you. i’m truly sorry about your brother man, hope you get better soon
50 cal: thanks man
hobbs: no problem, just make sure you start feeling better soon man, see you later
50 cal: see ya
