in lens studio, i’m working with face mesh
face mesh generates a 3d mesh that simulates the user’s facial movements. using the face mesh, you can add 3d masks to your lenses to make them more interesting. in this post, we’ll make a mask out of a material from the asset library. then, we’ll connect items to the mesh so they can move in sync with the user’s face movements
let’s get this party started!
including a face mesh
launch lens studio and start a new project. an object panel can be found on the left upper side. select face mesh by cl!cking the ~ b~tton. this adds a head binding as well as a face mesh
now that we have the face mesh, we can fill it with the material of our choosing. pick materials from the asset library in the top left column. in this case, we’ll be working with disintegrate, wood, and car paint. to download them to the resources screen, cl!ck the import b~tton
with the face mesh picked, navigate to the inspector panel and pick the disintegrate material as the face mesh material. the disintegrated substance covers the user’s ears. the disintegrated material can be customised, allowing us to change it based on the desired outcome
material personalization
pick the material in the resources panel to configure it. there are settings that can be changed in the inspector panel
there are a variety of properties that can be modified under the graph parameters. the base colour is the first colour that appears on the content. the metallic choice includes a slider for adjusting the strength of the metallic sheen of the material. while the roughness value is zero, the material is glossy and smooth; when the value is one, the material is rough. when allowed, the animate choice animates the material using the base and edge colours. the noise level determines how much disintegration occurs. the higher the noise frequency value, the faster the material disintegrates
including a sphere
the next move is to add a sphere to house the objects that will be attached to the mesh. go to objects>mesh>sphere to add a sphere. pick the sphere in the objects panel and wood as the material in the inspector panel
when you choose wood as the content, you will notice a difference. the next step is to modify the wood material settings. to do so, go to the resources panel and pick the wood material. there are settings in the inspector panel that you can experiment with to get the desired result
information transformation services is endowing the clients with a stunning and impressive visual experience crafted by 3d modeling services . we are completely forted to offers our customers with a range of appealing 3d designs that are carefully crafted to meet with all type of requirements
by selecting the sphere and changing the scale in the transform settings in the inspector panel or in the 2d scene, you can change the location of the object in relation to the mesh

object attachment to mesh
the pin to mesh part will be used to connect the sphere object to the face mesh. in the objects panel, select the sphere, and then in the inspector panel, press add component>pin to mesh. select the face mesh as the target in the pin to mesh part. the sphere object is now moving in sync with the user’s face
set the orientation to position and direction, which pins both the position and direction, and enable vertex normal in the pin to mesh settings. the offset location helps you to set the object’s position away from the mesh. in this case, i set the x,y,z values to 3
so far, it appears to be the picture above
in this case, i used a different material for another sphere piece
in the objects panel, add a sphere, and in the inspector panel, choose car paint as the stuff. in the inspector column, change the settings for the car paint material. it’s enjoyable to use and change the parameters to achieve the desired result. once you’ve selected the sphere that holds the object, you can change its size in the 2d scene or the transform settings in the inspector row
then, by attaching a pin to mesh part, pin it to the face mesh. set the values away from the goal mesh using the offset location
