on the 28th of september everything changed, you were born. amazing. emma was booked into the hospital to have you born. it was in the morning that it started to have happened. it was not until the afternoon that things started to move along, your mum then started contractions. the progress was so very slow, as time pushed and dragged on and on, the doctor said “move to birthing suite”. in the birthing suite, they gave laughing gas while they monitored your hearts beating rate. the doctors were scared that your heart was stressed, so they decided to perform caesarean. after that was decided, things happened fast. they took your mum to the theatre. they gave me special clothes, they told me to get changed. after i got changed, they made me wait, so long i waited that i was scared. when they called me to go inside, your mum was ready for surgery. they sat me behind a sheet, i was at your mums head. they would not let me watch as they cut your mums gut. i want to see you. i want to hold you. i want to hug you. i want to love you. when the doctor pulled you out of your mum you were blue and red….ergh! they said you weren’t breathing so they took you over to a place ~ resuscitate! then you started to breathe okay. when they gave you to me and mum, we were so pleased that you were alright. as you were hugged we gave you love, and we thought that you were the best… summer we love you, with all that we have, and all that we are. we hope that you have the best life there is, and we’ll strive to give it to you. for you are the best there is
